Norman Foster Foundation Atelier Robotics

November 20, 2017

This week takes place our first Robotics Atelier, in which ten students of all around the world will explore all the potential of this field applied to building and construction technologies.

Supported by the Rolex Institute and held in the Madrid Headquarters of the Norman Foster Foundation, the Atelier consists of several lectures, seminars and workshops in which renown specialists and researchers will guide the students in this experience conducted by Professor Matthias Kohler. With the collaboration of Universal Robots, the leading robotics manufacturer, the atelier will be able to use three units of its highly flexible robot arm, the UR5 Robot, that will help research the possible development and reach of what may be considered the second digital era.

On Wednesday 22nd November, Professor Matthias Kohler will be giving a lecture in the Auditorium Fundación Telefónica, followed by a conversation with Amelie Klein, open to general public, free entry until full capacity. If you are interested in attending, please contact us at info@normanfosterfoundation.org.
